Our local Neopolitan Way Publix was closed on November 30, 2024, and shortly thereafter, the store was demolished to make way for a new store.
After months of construction, it appears the new grocery store is nearing completion, with even the landscaping recently planted.
So, when is the store scheduled to open?
It has been difficult to get information from a Publix corporate spokesperson on the opening of the new, almost 52,000 square foot store, which will replace the prior store, just over 40,000 square feet.
However, a local Publix spokesperson who asked not to be identified in this article said the new store is scheduled to open in late May or early June.
This is the best information we have at this time. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
