The Gulf Shore Association of Condominiums, in partnership with the Park Shore Association, was proud to co-sponsor the Third Annual Naples City Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, November 7, at Baker Park. The event celebrated the many dedicated staff members who work tirelessly to keep our city running safely, efficiently, and maintain its beauty every day of the year.
The tradition began in November 2023, just one year after our city was devastated by Hurricane Ian. Within months of the storm, much of Naples was restored through the extraordinary efforts of our city staff, whose hard work, skill, and positive spirit helped our neighborhoods recover and flourish once again. It was a truly remarkable achievement made possible by strong leadership and a determined can-do attitude across all departments.
At this year’s gathering, city staff from Public Works, Community Service, Streets and Stormwater, Police, Fire-Rescue, and other departments enjoyed an afternoon of good food, conversation, and heartfelt appreciation. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for neighborhood representatives to personally thank the men and women who serve our city every day.
Our city employees are the backbone of Naples. Their hard work and professionalism often go unseen, but events like this remind us how much we rely on their dedication.
A special thanks to the City of Naples leadership for their continued partnership and commitment to our community. Together with the Park Shore Association, GSAC looks forward to continuing this annual appreciation- celebrating the people who keep Naples shining.
