  • Female reported computer made loud noise and a pop-up window appeared.
  • Pop up stated her computer was compromised.
  • Subject called phone number on pop up.
  • Subject paid with a credit card $499.00 to fix computer.
  • After hanging up the phone subject realized it was a scam.

  1. Stolen

3100 block of GSBN

  • The victim reported the theft of a her Trek Verve 3 valued at $2,500.
  • The victim stated the bike left locked and the lock was cut.
  • No video footage available.

*** Secure bikes with heavy duty solid lock, not cables which are cut easily. Store high value bikes in locked secured area. ***

4500 block of GSBN

  • The victim reported the theft of his black Trek 7.7FX bike.
  • The victim stated the bike was locked.
  • Video was collected; however, the image is very grainy.

  1. Warrant

5200 Crayton Rd. United Church of Christ

  • Naples PD conducted extra patrol of this location due to a report of a homeless male sleeping at this location.
  • Naples PD discovered the church had given permission for the subject to sleep on the property which is a violation of city ordinance.
  • Patrol make contact with the subject and discovered he had active warrants from Arkansas and Utah.
  • The subject was arrested and transported to Naples Jail Center.
