We published an article in our November issue informing you that after fifteen years in business as proprietor of the Park Shore Marina, Dave Ramsey was retiring.

Many neighbors were saddened to hear this news and were hopeful someone else would take over the business so we could all enjoy a cruise around the bay one more time.

Well, we have good news to share.

A new tenant has taken over the Marina effective January 1 and plans on running a very similar operation to Dave’s.

Your Boat Club at Park Shore is now open and renting boats. I recently met with Spencer Larson who is the Florida Market Manager, he is overseeing the business.

The new owner, Your Boat Club was founded in Minnesota in 2010 by two gentlemen, Luke Kujawa and Michael Jellish. Since that time the company has expanded into four states, Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida, and Minnesota, they operate more than forty locations.

Your Boat Club offers both memberships to the club or daily or multi-day rentals. For members there will be an upfront membership fee and then a monthly charge for unlimited rentals. With the membership program each member is entitled hold two half day rentals at a time.

Please contact the marina for both membership details and daily rates by calling Spencer between the hours of 8AM-5PM at 239 236 2720 or book online at yourboatclub.com.

Your Boat Club would like to offer all GSAC members a 10% discount on their first rental, please use promotion code GSAC10FL when booking.

The marina will have available for rental eight to ten boats which will include pontoon, center console, and runabouts.

You will also find bait and tackle, soda, snacks, both gas and diesel fuel, and other related items for sale.

There will be two fuel slips for those looking to purchase fuel and two transient slips for those looking to dock their boats to dine or shop at the village.

To keep our Bay safe, Spencer will make sure that all customers go through a brief orientation by staff members and that they know the rules of the water, it will be safety first at Your Boat Club.

Stop by the Marina and say “hi” to Spencer and welcome him to the neighborhood, you will enjoy meeting him.
